Neil Binks
Neil is responsible for the overall running of Orchard Homes and sister company Orchard Developments; concentrating on the financials, land purchase, planning and legal aspects of the business. Neil, Trend and Clive work collaboratively on all elements of planning and building and have established a seamless way of working throughout the 37 years to create truly outstanding homes. Neil’s strategic focus brings the three brothers’ vision to life.
Trend Binks
Trend’s strengths lay in the technical and structural elements of the builds, working with leading architects to create exceptional homes that bring something new to market. Keeping abreast with the latest technology ensures that Orchard Homes are always at the forefront of new trends and that our homes achieve exceptional quality and sustainability standards. Trend is known for his love of gadgets and will often be seen flying his drone over site to document progress for buyers to view on the website.
Clive Binks
We have a reputation for innovation, creativity and Clive leads the design and sales side of the business, and is heavily involved in land procurement. He has a keen eye for detail and a passion to create properties that homeowners will really appreciate and enjoy. He takes great pride in overseeing the architectural design phase, ensuring every home maximizes the use of light and space to deliver a home that brings joy to homeowners. Clive enjoys creating the many distinctive features that are synonymous with an Orchard Home, bringing a new design element or interior style to each new housing development.
The next generation
Nicholas Binks
Nick joined Orchard in 2004 after graduating from Otley College having completed a wet trades and machinery handling course. Nick’s hands-on role is integral to the day to day runnings on site. His skilled use of machinery means that he’s key to using the telehandler and diggers to organise materials for the tradesmen to ensure a smooth running site and the build keeps to schedule.
Christopher Binks
Chris joined Orchard in 2008 after graduating from City College Norwich where he studied Construction and the Built Environment. Chris manages sites and oversees all aspects of the construction process from site commencement through to the hand-over of keys to new homeowners. He is responsible for site programming, procurement and the organising of materials so that the sites run smoothly.
The extended team
We are delighted to have a strong team of dedicated and qualified craftsmen to carry out the challenging building programmes that we undertake; some of whom have been with us since we started the business in the eighties.
We are also fortunate to have built around us a small team of professionals who help us manage all aspects of the business, all of whom focus on helping us deliver the high standard of quality we aspire to achieve.
As directors we have always tried to surround ourselves with people who are better than us at their individual jobs, all our team buy into what we are trying to achieve and share in our satisfaction in delivering quality homes whatever their size.
The buying experience
It is our intention to make the whole experience of buying an Orchard Home a pleasure. We like to include and involve our clients in the building process where possible, so we can work together with our buyers to meet their expectations and deliver on their requirements.
We have a number of clients who have bought houses from us on more than one occasion, moving from one of our sites to another, so we must be doing something right!
