The rural village of Spooner Row lies approximately 4 miles from the towns of Wymondham and Attleborough. It is 17 miles from Norwich and 54 from Cambridge. Facilities within the village include a popular public house/restaurant, primary school and railway station. Spooner Row railway station, in the village, is served by local services operated by Abellio Greater Anglia on the Breckland Line from Norwich to Cambridge. Wymondham and Attleborough offer more extensive shopping, banking, schooling and leisure facilities. Norwich itself has many places to visit including Norwich Cathedral, and its 900 year old Castle, built by the Normans as a Royal Palace.
