The Warren Bawburgh

Old Mill Gardens, Forncett End

Site completed: 2016 | Status: All homes sold

The Old Mill Gardens housing development in Forncett End, Norfolk, was completed by Orchard Homes in 2016 and consists of 10 individually designed detached family homes each with its own private driveway and larger than average fully fenced southerly aspect gardens

These homes come with a generous specification including limestone floors with underfloor heating on the ground floor, independently controlled heat zones, integrated sound system, TV connections throughout the property with integrated splitters and satellite capability and not to mention multiple light zones to create various mood effects.

Each home was built with highly flexible reception rooms including lounge, study, dining room, kitchen, family room and utility. Each property offered something different with individually designed kitchens, with granite work surfaces, and quality fitted bathrooms and ensuites.

The lounges benefit from dual aspect sealed unit double glazed windows including a feature full height tilt and turn vent to the rear of the property and bi-fold patio doors to the side. In addition to this is a lantern roof that provides maximum natural light.

Landscaped borders and Indian sandstone paths were laid to either side leading to the rear garden where a generous sandstone patio area is found screened by 6′ panel fencing.

Location

Forncett End is a small rural village approximately 10 miles south of the fine cathedral city of Norwich. The Forncetts are closely associated with the larger village of Tacolneston which has a primary school, public house and Chinese takeaway.

Further amenities are available at the historic market town of Wymondham (approximately 5 miles away) providing shopping, schools to all levels including the highly regarded Wymondham College and train station (Norwich to Cambridge line). The market town of Diss lies 11 miles to the south with the mainline railway station (Norwich to London Liverpool Street). The countryside surrounding the village is ideal for walkers, cyclists and horse riding.
